The Non-stop-Kena-F*** Saga
Never before did I imagine I am writing with regard to the ongoing the-talk-about court case in the history of my life... hehe... What else if not the NKF a.k.a. Non-stop Kena F*** saga that has attracted the attention of the whole nation, including an uproar caused over the unpopular remarks made by the wife of our Senior Minister. If not because of the suing incident against Singapore Press Holdings, the man, Mr NKF himself, T T Durai (pronounce as Do-Ray), would have kept his own secret, for an indefinite time, of earning the S$1.8 million over three years including bonuses plus other benefits from the knowledge of our kind donors. Fuuuh!!~
Even though, to be frank, I do not contribute to this suppose-to-be-a-non-profit organisation, but after reading the daily papers and watching the news on tv, I felt that I'm too being cheated by this millionaire(?) guy. Why? It's because I have respect for those who actually run and manage this kinda organisation and do good deeds to the well-being of our unhealthy Singaporeans who need their kind assistance.
Reading the exchange of arguments between Durai and the very-much-popular Senior Counsel Mr Davinder Singh, (well-known for his cross-examination against members of the opposition party during the PAP defamation saga quite some time ago) in front of Justice Tan Lee Meng plus the amazing crowd of hundreds of kiasu Singaporeans as uninvited audience, I felt that this saga is one of the most memorable kiss-and-tell incident in the history of this Republic. I was shocked and amazed by the dramatic disclosures by Durai in this case, and the admission made by he himself that the article appeared in the Straits Times was not after all defamatory.
I'm wondering what is this Durai-guy up to... After the public knew so much about his income and benefits, he decided to pull-out just like that and pretend nothing had happened? How would the public react and begin to trust any other organisation's managing of charity funds? ...and how would the kidney patients feel for his wrongdoings? Must they take the blame for all of his nonsensical and well-publicised lifestyle?

Angry donors who have been donating regularly decided to pull-out from their monthly contributions. Frustrated members of the public had even created a petition with their not-so-sensible comments about how Durai had misused the funds, and the "peanuts" remarks made by the wife of our SM Goh Chok Tong. News about vandalism at the vicinity of NKF Building at Kim Keat Road was also widely spread by the newspapers produced by SPH itself.
Now, the big question that is still lingering in everyone's mind: WHAT'S NEXT? Must Durai "give-in" to the increasing demand by the majority of the public for him to step down as the NKF's CEO? Will the third instalment of the NKF Show to be shown on Thursday on Mediacorp Channel U will see a decline in donations after the court battle? Will Durai make a "special appearance" as a "guest star" to support the show (and to further "support" the decline in donations!!??)? Or will the cash donated by the public actually be used to pay for his legal fees? Well... it's for us to speculate again.
...and don't forget to contact Straits Times's Susan Long should you notice unusual furniture or fittings, or even gold-coated tap(s) in any of the charity organisation's CEO's bathroom. Or best still, you can call the New Paper --- you might just get away with a FREE mobile phone for that wonderful and interesting story. LOL. :-P
